2008 Activities

We have two days jam-packed with art, music, family entertainment, art demonstrations, interactive art projects and, of course, festival food galore.

Check out the Main Stage presented by US Cellular, for a 7-hour line up each day of folk, bluegrass, jazz, rock, celtic, swing, blues, ragtime, bossa nova and African drumming.

Younger audiences can head for the Youth Roots Stage presented by Art in Health Care Foundation for a dazzling line-up of musical youth plus storytellers, puppeteers, breakdancing and a chance to meet raptors from the University of Missouri’s Raptor Rehabilitation Project.

And if that’s not enough, don’t forget to:

visit the tie-dye tent to design your own t-shirt
get your face painted
drop by the Children’s Creative Corner for a variety of projects
see art demonstrations by Access Arts on the Stephen’s Lake Island
stop by the Columbia Art League information tent to buy a specially printed Golden Jubilee Art in the Park t-shirt
visit the non-profit booths
stay hydrated at the Pepsi tent
visit the food court for delicious festival food
